I've been without the remote for my car for some time, would like to get a replacement
I've never liked having such a bulky remote on my keyring. Are there alternative options for replacement keys? Ideally i'd prefer a key/remote combo but I guess thats out of the question primarily due to the immobilizer.

Are there any aftermarket remotes that work?

Additionally, I had this remote with my KF

Do I need to use the same type, or can I use the other model with the red/green buttons? This one looks a lot slimmer and smaller, as well as bigger/easier buttons to press

They all work on different frequencies so not interchangeable.
Buy what you had previously, or do without.

You can install various aftermarket remotes to control the factory central locking. It means wiring them in of course. As far as programming....................no. You stick to factory.
