I stumbled upon this video on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cl-7LtQuRfs

Says that if you spray this Silicon spray in the windows it will make them run smoothy, would you recommend?

I was under the assumption that any fluid what-so-ever near and around the internals of an electric window assembly is a big no no as it will damage the regulator and electrics.

Should I do this to my car?

As the guy said, water runs through the doors when you wash it or when it rains, so I wouldn't worry about the electrics from that spray.
You may need to remove the door trims though as the 3rd gen doesn't have those frames.

I'm not sure if silicone will disturb window tint though?

I've heard that lithium spray is also good to use

Another product to try is Selleys Ezi Glide.
I looked at the MSDS and they tell you not very much. The dangers are to do with the 60 % of the can that is the flammable propellant.
They say on the can that spraying on to a hot surface gives off toxic compounds. I think they are saying that the lubricant is Teflon. Above about 300 degrees C, teflon can release flourine gas. Thus, I suggest that the lubricant is teflon. Anyway, for the application silicone or teflon will be OK.
Hope this helps.

I use PTFE spray rather than silicone spray, it doesn't attract dirt like silicone spray does. Selleys Ezi Glide is PTFE, you can also get WD-40 and CRC versions, see here for example: http://wd40specialist.com/products/dry-lube/

What oil/grease would be best to use on the cabling that goes inside the sheath?
