As title suggests, just curious to know who's third gen is still under the 100,000kms mark? (original kilometres)
Mine just ticked over 100,000kms, now has 100,370kms at time of writing. Timing belt/water pump done at 95,000kms

My AWD TL is at about 92. It's all up to date as far as maintenance goes.
I don't believe it's too difficult to find 3rd gens claiming to be <100k for sale still.
They do come up from time to time.
Based on my experience with my KH anything <180 that's been looked after is still young!

I have two TJ Solaras. One is metallic burgundy colour and has done 129,000k. The other is the coffee-cream metallic known as "Riversand". It is in pristine and unmarked condition, just having turned over 38,500k

100,000km passed by many years ago. My Magna however is now just under the 500,000km mark.:)

For those with uber low kms, I'm curious as to how you reach it - is your Magna a dust collector, a train station car, a weekend warrior, or (in Jase's case) continually off the road in pieces? lol lol
I've put 88,000km on my (daily driven) 380 in 3 and a half years so how a 11-20 year old car can have less than 100,000km on it is a bit of a mystery to me.

I guess people that live close to work, or catch public transport maybe only use their car on the weekends or just short trips to the shops, would not be doing many K's a year.

Mine is a dust collecting weekend warrior..:) and its never been continually in pieces.. Last time was 12months ago when i changed the Injectors..:)
My young Bloke hit 3months old on Wednesday and ive only driven the car twice since he was born. Just haven't got the time, used to get it out weekends but i just cant be stuffed moving the car seat between cars to take it out for an hour or two.. All my share hairs ive managed to pull laterly ive got the bike out and been hitting the National Park Road. Im out at the NSW Social on Tue Night and looking forward to giving it a good drive.

I'll tell you the story of mine. I bought mine in 2013 with 75,000kms on the clock in jan. that was when I was in year 12, and my school was literally across the park. So it sat in the garage, got started on wednesday then driven on sunday for pretty much the first 6 months till I got my licence. After that, it was pretty much my weekend toy. Once I graduated from high school and began university, it's still only a 10 min drive there so it's not far. Work is 30 mins from home, and as I still live it home (until I graduate haha ) I borrow mum's car on the weekend mostly or if we go out it's in dad's car because it's the newest of them all

I considered it an achievement to find a Verada with under 200,000kms on it. At least in my neck of the woods.
The KJ is about to cross the 200k mark, engine internals barely run in, but we just replaced the timing belt, pulleys, tensioners, cam seals, water pump, thermostat, radiator assembly, hoses, alternator assembly, brake pads and discs, tyres and flushed the transmission through.
This car is a bit of a weekend cruiser for me, with the exception of the odd trip to work and back, so I doubt I'll wind up the kilometres that quickly. We have this awful habit of using our personal cars for company use where I work, and having seen what it does to some otherwise nice cars after a couple of years, I'd sooner pick up another car and use that than subject the KJ to that hammering.

My TJ2 wagon was bought exactly 2 yrs ago with 134k from its original 2 owners. As I had another toy car for 1 of those years and a work car for day to day use, its only now got 151k. 1.5k of that was a broken hill/Mildura road trip.
The exhaust had to be replaced in that time as low kays =rusty exhaust system.
I am concerned that 3rd gen magnas are getting harder to find anywhere in half reasonable condition.

Saw an older bloke at the servo a couple of weeks ago with a TJ LE Magna, Pewter, leather, sunroof, looked like new. Spoke to the bloke and it had just rolled over to 70k.

Cars are built to be driven, if they break, you fix them!

My 2nd gen KS verada is still under 100K (it just gathers dust in my garage!).
As GoodOldJohno said "Cars are meant to be driven, if they break, you fix them!).
I do these bits "break and fix" and "mostly look at my shiny KS".
