Hi all,

A while ago, I managed to score a set of leather seats from a wrecked GT. They bolted straight into the SX, no problem. The issue is, the wiring loom in the SX seems to be missing a connector that leads to the seat memory control unit on the GT seat rails. This obviously means that none of the power seat adjustments work. Luckily the driver's seat was in the perfect position for me so I just left it. Problem is now that I'm looking at selling the car, I need to have working seat adjustments.

Is there a way I get this seat working in an SX (an add on to the wiring loom perhaps??) or am I flogging a dead horse? Worse comes to worst, I can install the original cloth SX seats to sell the car.

Appreciate the help in advance!

If you were willing you could just put in the GT Wiring loom, but wouldn't be worth the time and effort for just the seats.

I'm pretty sure the 380 used a similar memory seat to ford, look under the seat and if its an air international memory seat controller you should be able to run power direct to the other plug and it will work just without the memory functions.

Yeah I'm thinking it's too much effort to install a GT loom, especially just to sell it.

I might have a look at running a power to it, but again, am I being silly? Will the leather seats really add any resale value?

does the 380 gt seat have a 4 pin plug to power the seat and a 10 pin plug next to it?

I believe it does but I'll have to confirm. I asked Mal about it and he says running a power and ground to the plug for the memory controller should definitely work. I'll give it a go tonight
