Just out of curiosity will a magna intake snorkal fit a mitsubishi 380, only difference i see different is the magna one is more wider then the 90mm galant snorkal oh and the height

On the topic at hand. I'm not sure that it will fit, the direction would me more of an issue as the magna snorkel is quite flat and the 380 snorkel curves down in to an airbox.

It would be interesting to see what they both flow at.

Being a prick is definitely optional, but in previous threads the collective intelligence of this forum has concluded that messing around with the standard 380 intake is pretty much a waste of time. Perhaps if you try to read between the lines a bit more and try to ignore prick-like behaviour from posters?

Edit: IIRC Zilo has done some pretty extensive dyno testing on different intake setups to discover they don't really do anything other than vary induction noise.

No, because some people need to be called out on their douche attitude. This is one of the reasons why the OP (a very innocent person seeking some information) could turn around from this experience and just never bother coming back to our forum. People like Zilo are the ones killing this place.

I don't give a damn if he's the prince of york, I've done the same on a dyno but I still leave my intake snorkel off sometimes because I love the noise. It mostly comes down to personal preference and the OP was simply asking a question. One which I don't think is specifically covered by any other thread out there.

Anyhow, just because the opening is wider does not mean it has extra flow. It would be cheaper to add an extra pipe to the airbox and feed air to it from behind the headlights. That is what I did to my KW GTVi AWD. Steve Knight pretty much said that is as much as you can do to the intake. Anything else is just noise.
