Help. please. does the pipe leaving the muffler change exhaust note or sound. bigger, smaller, dual, cured, straight, loopy, whatever. got a 2.75 inch that instantly starts coning to 4 inch curved tip. if i cut the tip off will it change? if i cut the entire thing off will it change? if i weld a new straight bit of pipe from the end of the muffler will it change?
this is the exhaust atm http://imgur.com/GU3SNu4 it is a supercat muffler, currently is quite drony and a decent volume im not nessicerily looking for a louder exhaust but a higher pitch note than it is now.
