Ok, this may sound stupid but this is what i want to do: I want to get either KJ taillights/altezas (when they come out)/ or standard TJ lights and fit them to my TH. But to do this i need a new boot. I want to go with the KJ boot. as far as i know, the boot off a TJ syle magna and tail lights will fit a TH, am i right? Im only doing this because im not a fan of the rear of the TH but i prefer the front over the TJ.. did that make sence? :nuts:

Isnt the KJ a Verada? and if so, it has lights on the actual boot, so you wouldnt want to be fitting TJ lights, especially altezzas when u have square ugly lights on the boot lid. Im still skeptical that TJ lights fit on a TH..

But yeh, correct me if im wrong.

if i was going the verada boot i would go the verada lights but otherwise i would go the normal TJ boot with alteza's or normal lights.
I tryed putting a TJ light on myne the other day and it fit ok untill i tryed to close the boot then it wouldnt close due to the boot sticking out to far in the middle of the sides :nuts: if ya know what i mean.. im confusing myself here :bowrofl:

yeah it does. but i want the boot mainly, as i dont like the TE/F/H boot. And the TJ boot with the earlyer style lights looks weird

is the clear plastics things around the number plate on the kj boot the reversing lights? So wowould a kj boot and kj tail lights fit alright on a tf?

the boot and tail lights from a te-th are interchangable with a tj,kj and tl. All the mounts and seals are exactly the same.. its just the visual appearance that is different

if anyone is after a set of tj tail lights i am selling my set. pm me if interested

I know its bad to repeat things but to clear things up, even a KL verada Boot and tail lights can be transferred to te - th?

Update: I called mitsu spares and they want $305 for the boot and $62 for that bit that goes in the middle of the boot. You know what i mean. DOes anyone sydney based know of a weckers that would have a TJ boot in good nick, without a spoiler :P :>, im guessing the painting of the boot will cost somewhere between $200 and $350. does that sound rite?
