Hi, I owned a 2005 Magna Tw come with a original single CD player.
Before is working fine for few months, but now when I press to power on the CD player, it just play few seconds and off. I turn on again and it off immediately. And the security Led light is flashing. What is the problems? So strange.
Thanks...
You need the security code for it. Take it to a dealer with proof of ownership and the cars VIN and they will provide you with the 4 digit pin.

Hi, thanks mate. I have that 4 digit pin in my owner manual, how can I enable the input function?
Normally it's pretty straight forward when inputting the PIN. Just try and punch in the numbers and see how it responds.
Got a pic of your stereo? Some of the earlier ones were harder but the later ones had numbered buttons for the codes.

From memory (could be wrong or for different model)...
1. Turn car on
2. Push and hold play button for 2 seconds
3. 0000 appears on display
4. Type in correct code
5. Push (but don't hold) play button
Does this work?

Do you have the owner's manual in the glove box? What does that say?
I'm not near my third gen so I can't check for you.

IIRC:
Step 4:
push station button 1 repeatedly until first position of "0000" shows correct number.
push station button 2 repeatedly until second position of "0000" shows correct number.
etc
If it is not a code entry problem, the CD player is probably defective and you need to replace it. (I did on my TJ and TL). Usually it is the CD player that gives out first. If your radio still plays AM and FM normally, it is NOT a code problem. If it is a code entry problem, AM/FM will play normally but cut out after a few (10?) minutes.
Modern car radios are cheap and have more functionality that the original. MP3, USB, bluetooth, better sound, better equilizer, etc.
Got it sorted yet? Perhaps take it to a dealer to have a look. Chances are either it was replaced by the previous owner and the new PIN was not recorded or the CD player has died.

Thanks mate for help,I try those step but still can't go into entering mode. Maybe the code was right but it was died. Because I haven't seen that show me to input code or OFF on display. But sometime playing CD it show Err.

sometime playing CD it show Err.
Err = hardware error problem on the CD drive.
That is pretty conclusive. Not a CODE problem, but hardware problem. Replace or just use the radio part only.
