this may sound weird but when im driving i notice the power gain and lessen at different times, i have not yet been able to figure out what causes it to change. it almost feel like a self activating sport mode that just changes randomly. I have been driving the car for 2 months to and from work everyday. and i always use tiptronic. but for example in first gear sometimes is just takes of a bit but other it will throw me in the seat a bit. feels like when you have the aircon on but a bit bigger difference. note that this happens when the arcon is off. any information on what it is? also it has more engine breaking hen its in the more powerful mode

Possibly a misfire, or you right foot has a mind of its own. Or the weather - temperature, humidity - is affecting engine performance.
Perhaps the car is haunted? (jk)

Im not the best with cars, but it does not feel like a misfire at all, stays nice and smooth but feel like it drops a fair bit of hp, and i can fill it kick in and out when i drive..
like ill take off from 20 in first and sometimes i can feel it kick in (others in the car feel it to)

Dale, I can tell you that your not the only one who feels this.
I have this same problem as well. Some times it's on the ball in first-second gear some times it's like the air-con has a mind of it's own and turns on.

I just assumed it was weather - temperature, humidity or heat soak affecting it but maybe it's something else.

I know for sure I don't get misfires.

But I'm just as stumped as you. Maybe it's just age & K's as mine is reaching the 200,000 mark.

Maybe your throttle plate is getting stuck? Like when you depress the accelerator pedal it might be getting caught then opening suddenly. Causing a sudden increase in power?.

I have had my KJ Verada back on the road for a few days now, and I seem to be feeling the same thing.....its only slight, at first I thought I was imagining things....but im really starting to think there is something there....but im not going to try and trace it.....
