Hey everyone, so my car has recently started to have the same issue again and I'm quite confused as to what might be causing it. The last time this originally happened was over 8 months ago, then disappeared all by itself.
However it came back last month. Since then I replaced my car battery as it was over 4 years old as preventive maintenance plus I thought the issue may have been related. It's now been happening every 1-2days since the battery replacement so in total 2 months now.
Basically the issue I'm having is intermittent and tends to happen when starting the car first thing in the morning.
When turning the key in the motion to start the engine it will sometimes fail to start properly and basically stall on the first attempt and or start but barely, after this happens second attempt works every-time other times it works perfectly so I'm a little stumped. The car seems to run fine otherwise.
Any advice would be great. Car currently has 116k km's on the clock. Also could this issue be possibly caused by a leaking rocker cover gasket/tube seals and maybe a spark plug or two might have oil which has leaked in the socket. I remember reading that this was a common issue on the 380's could I be showing a symptom of this?
Update: I swear my car hates me. I've been trying to catch the issue with my camera all week and have had no luck. FML anyways its good for me in a way but annoying as hell not knowing whats wrong. It could possibly be a key/ignition issue as maybe im holding the key at the right angle with the one hand to work everytime. Does anyone know if your car stalls first go does it cause damage to the engine or other components at all?
