Hi all, just wondering does anyone know what maybe causing this, when I have my lights on the the left hand side of my climate control is not working, thats the fan speed display, the air con the out temp button and the off button don't illuminate when my lights are on, I put another climate control unit in my car and the same thing, the globs are fine. cheers

I cant imagine how it isnt isolated in the climate controle unit, but you changed it! The power and earth would come from the same pins. All the knobs and buttons lights work 100% in unison, yeah? The right and left side never do anything different from each other... I cant imagine how. Wonder if any of the electrical minds of AM have a thought?

No clue, the A/C ECU illumination circuit is powered through pin 30 (G-W) and earthed via the rheostat through pin 29 (B-Y) in connector B-13 which is one of the two connectors to the unit. If you've swapped out the ECU and the problem remains... well that's got me buggered! Does ALL other illumination work correctly and NO others are failing anywhere in the dash, and do they dim correctly via the rheostat? Does the ECU display illumination work correctly, ie. bright with headlights off and dim with headlights on?

Hi Ensoniq5, yes everything else works fine as it should, I have noticed the hazard light button does illuminate at night either, I have a KH Verada as well, might swap things over from it and see if its still the same, thanks so much for your reply, cheers
