Hi - does anyone know where I would be able to get the entire set of exhaust system parts for a 1998 TF Magna sedan, 3 litre? From the engine down pipes all the way to the rear muffler.

I can find them easily for a Diamante in the USA, but having difficulty here.

I guess on that basis, can anyone advise if the USA Diamante exhaust was the same as the Australian delivered cars?

I don't want to take it to someone and have them do the work, I want to do the install myself.

Be careful of buying exhaust stuff from the US. They almost certainly had different emission regualtions and hence different catalyst arrangements ie maybe 2 cats instead of just one as we have here. Also, I imagine that the freight would be horrendously expensive.

New or used? Try wreckers, Ebay, Gumtree.

Was looking for new. Car has only done 55,000kms, so planning on it being around another 20 years or so at least.

USA has the same part numbers available as per the Australian part numbers, so might buy there. Shipping will be expensive, but at least I can get all new from the USA.

If you are looking for long-term, why not consider getting a system made up locally from stainless steel? This is especially so if your car only does short trips - the exhaust will never warm up and it will rot out quickly. My wife's TF exhaust used to go roughly every 2 years - I would have to get some part replaced, usually the tailpipe.
