Hi All, I have searched but can not find out how to either short or attach something to a TJ 2003 to get the codes. The engine light comes on when the car changes into second gear and then dissapears again when i lay off the accelerator. Under my dash next to the fuse is only one black block with two wires. Is this what I use? Does anyone have a pic of what and where? Thannks

Seen that thanks MadMax, just dont know which is the Ground Terminal 1 on the Diagnostic Connector and what the connector is.

That means to connect terminal 1 (pin 1) of the diagnostic connector to a ground point on the chassis. Pins 4 & 5 of the diagnostic connector are both connected to ground. The diagnostic connector, which is a standard 16 pin OBD2 type connector (usually black), is under the dash on the driver's side near the edge of the centre console, facing down.
