Hi
My '94 Magna 2.6L 4cyl is blowing smoke and using a bit of oil. Thought it could be valve stem seals as they are apparently notorious for hardening and causing oil to leak down valve stems. Any way it might be rings so I want to do a compression test. The manual says to disconnect the coil primary lead - I guess that is the main lead going from coil to distributor. It also says to disconnect the ECI-Multi control relay to prevent fuel injection. Can anyone tell me where that relay is located? I know how to do the rest of the compression test.
Cheers
Graham

You have to pull the ECI fuse. On the fuse box cover, look for the one that says ECI. Here's a picture:

Hi
Thanks for the response. Sorry I was waiting for email to notify me but one never came, so I just went online to check.
I was looking in that fuse box, but the manual said to disconnect the relay. I guess that fuse will do it!!!
Cheers
