Hey guys got a set of 18x7.5 rims with 52 offset just wondering if anyone knows if they will clear the inner suspension components without spacers? They are being painted at the moment so i cant test fit them. Thanks
Depends on what width tyres are going on them. 235/40R18 tyres will be 21mm closer to the suspension components so if there is less than 21mm room behind the tyres at the moment (assuming you currently have 205/65R15 on 15x5.5 +46 setup). 215/45R18 tyres will be 11mm closer so should be OK.

Yeah 205 65 15 at the moment. Was thinking 225 45 18 or maybe even 40 18 might have to get under and measure the clearance. Thanks

225/45R18 would be 16mm closer and 6mm bigger in radius so need to check as well. 225/40 will still have the same width so 16mm closer, however, it is 10mm smaller in diameter so may not be able to get tyres with appropriate load ratings.
Just realised 215/45R18 is not a very common tyre size as well.

Wasnt sure about 215 i thought it would look stretched on a 7.5 ive got 215 on my other car with a 7" rim and they are perfect fit
Have a play here:

Just tried and the 215/45R18 on 18x7.5 did not look like it will look stretched. I had 225/45R18 on 18x8 wheels and they were OK. 215 is 1cm narrower than 225 and 7.5" is 1.27cm narrower than 8".

Yes but TWaGn's wheels have +52 offset. Your wheels are most likely +35 offset.

Got under and measured distance from the tyre bulge to the suspension got 30mm so with a lower profile 18 i think itll be fine on the rear anyway
Have you tested the fronts with the wheels turned? You will also need to have tyres with at least 95 load rating so 225/45R18 or 235/45R18 tyres.

no havent looked at the front yet its the rear i was more worried about but ill test fit a rim when i get it back and that'll give me a better idea.
