Finally I have got this done!
I decided that I'd drive to melbourne from adelaide since no one is able to help out.
The whole thing took me 4 days as they know I am from interstate and had everyone working onto it. Maybe I should make a mould of it now?!?

Anyway, kit looks good. Kinda ruins the 2 tone look of the Elite but.. U gonna color code the rest of the car?

For a REALLY cheap mold, try dental plaster - mixes like plaster of paris, sets like ceramic, and has great surface definition. Should last for at least a couple of castings, depending on how you treat it and how flexible the material you are casting is. Good for doing one-off molds, say you want to take the shape and modify it, eg. you want to meld the bottom lip with the standard bumper... (I'd be in for one of those!, depending on cost)
Of course, if you are talking about doing like 20 castings, you'd go for a proper gel-coat fibreglass mold... it's all a matter of cost vs profit!
For materials to make the kits with, I'd be more inclined towards a clear polyurethane (as in the fair-dinkum plastic, not the paints!). High impact resistance, flexible, reasonably cheap, and clear - you could basically mold clear kits that could then be custom painted from behind, essentially giving a permanent clear-coat. :D

THAT IS AWESOME, i would buy it, we should organise a group buy. Theres only 1 problem, cars just dont look right with a mad front spoiler and no side skirts/rear skirt to go with it. So if i were to buy it, i'd have to somehow find side skirts that would match that front, but it is the BEST front i've seen for a TR by far.

Well done on the bar!!
I wasn't the biggest fan of the jetspeed bumper but the colour of your car really does it justice. good job

Yeah sounds about right... I live on Blackburn Road. I love the HID kit... I think it makes the car look tuff. I dont mind having the odd two tone look for a little while until I have more ideas for the sides. I personally dont think it looks that odd.

The yellow car is a 3rd Gen (TE-TH) magna. As seen on Fastmagna.com but its now yellow and they are just doing some repairs and refining.

For those who wants a group buy I dont think its really possible as its a custom kit and the kit is made on the car... if you look at my kit and the kit on craig's TR. There are actually slight variations. Its $950 for the front bar alone (depending on availability) + $350 for painting + $150 for postage if required. It is possible to mould the top of the stock front bar into this but will cost $300ish more.

I am not interested in donating my bar to make a mould yet but I may at a later date. I have contacts to make moulds and will need 5+ bars made. but then it may not fit other TR/S without some modifying because the bar is made on my car and every car is slightly different especially if you had front end damage. There maybe problems with copyrights that'd have to be checked.
