The only real concern is its defectable (if the cops look hard enough)

Magna's load ratings are bloody high and really for no reason. A load rating means how much weight the tyre can handle.

The tyres should be fine if kept at the right pressure (I think one of the Toyo sites has the conversion chart). The Magna load ratings are WAY over engineered. You will get MURDERED by the insurance company if caught. The lowest load rating for gen3 Magna's is 94. Keep those tyres pumped up hard!

Go to www.toyo.com.au and click on the 'Tech Info Bulletin' link. The article you are looking for is in the left column 'Inflation Pressure Part 3 - Plus Sizing.'

Umm... the air is not the issue. It's the strength of the sidewall construction.

Lowest gen3 is 94 but only select TE's and TJ's. All else is 95.

If you kill someone and the tyres are deemed a contributing factor, you can be charged and you won't have insurance.
