Hi all,

A friend of mine is looking for a 2nd hand 3rd gen, but unsure of model vs feature comparisons. I've only been playing with them for a couple of years :D, so I can't go back prior to TJ.

i.e.
* what are the main differences/upgrades from TE through to TJ
* what are the feature comparisons for exec vs solara vs advance vs sports vs vrx etc?

I had a quick hunt around but couldn't find any source of reference on the topic...

i'll try n give ya whatever i can from the top o' me head

if possible, get a TH, coz it comes with a 3.5lt engine.

I got a TH sports, it came standard with
All elecs, dual airbags, leather gear knob & str wheel, sports cloth trim, white faced dials, sports suspension (slightly lower & sway bars), spoiler, 16" sports alloys, sunroof (option), tint (option) & colour coded body parts, Trip computer

stock TE-TF comes with a 3ltr. elec mirrors, standard trim, , some have speed alert

TH stock - driver a/bag, trip computer, 3.5ltr engine, elec mirrors.

TH Solara - All elecs, Dual A/bags, 15" solara alloys, spoiler (option), 10 stacker CD, color coded mirrors. Silver border around bottom of car

the NRMA comparison site is pretty trustworthy, but its quite detailed, which makes making comparisons a bit time consuming.
