Hi Guys,

I currently own a 11/98 TF Advance Auto (100% stock model that is a little neglected at times  ). My problem is i am thinking of updating. Northshore Mitsu (Syd) have 03 TJ AWD's for $21,990. I'm wondering if there would be much room for negotiation here? I'm thinking i am better off heading for the auctions however Pickles (where i bought my last Magna) don't seem to get anywhere near as many Magnas for auction these days.

My spend limit would probably be $20k. I would want to try and get my hands on a 2002/2003 TJ Series II Sports or stock AWD for this price. What are my chances? or am i better of spending closer to $25K?

Any advice/opinions?

Thanks
Brett :D

TJ Series 2 Sedan AWD 4dr SA 5sp 4WD 3.5i (Aug onwards)

average kms 18,000 - 22,000

Trade in price guide* $16,500 - $19,200

National average price - private sale* $18,600 - $21,700

So if it has high KM or a common colour you should be able to get a good one for $19K

I would get a sports AWD if I were you. you get just those extra little things.

If you are planing on adding lots of mods then go the standard cause it will save you money but you won't be able to replace the climate control.

I dont know about other states, but adelaide didnt seem to to have that many awd/ awd sports around, maybe a few more around now , driving around (do alot of K`s for work) might see 2/3 a week on the road ! Some dealers still asking around 26,000 to 29,000 on the tag for A1 sports awd, but have seen as low as 22,500 for a white awd
