Pretty easy to install. Just remove the exhaust manifold an then bolt the extractors onto there, do you have a stock exhaust? if you do u will likely have to cut it off somewhere so the extractors will bolt on.

Need to CUT BEFORE CAT AND WELD FLANGE ON, then it's bolt on.

Isnt the cat just up near the exhaust manifold though?

Yes, but only for the old carby fed astron 2s. All others, including ECI astrons, have the cat underneath the car somewhere.

I'm currently looking at RPW race design headers... can anyone give any pro's or con's to these compared with the Pacemakers??
Cheers

Well, Pacemakers you can buy, RPW's don't presently exist. They're onhold indefinately so don't expect anything anytime soon.

Redav's right.. after 12 months of waiting, RPW finally canned the idea due to all sorts of manufacturing problems and whatnot.
I've got a set of their street design headers on order and I'm going to do before and after dynos which I'll post up as soon as it's done. They've got larger primaries than the pacemakers but that's not going to make a difference on an otherwise unmodified car such as mine. It'll be interesting anyway to see if the extra $$ is worth it over the pacemakers. Stay tuned!

Hello all, 1st posting onto any topic on this forum. I'm in the US and have recently ordered a set of Pacemaker headers/extractors. In reading some of the posts both on this thread and others I see power gains listed.
Now I have a Magnaflow Cat Back exhaust fitted to my 2002 Diamante, also have switched to a K&N Filter pod. With the installation of the Pacemaker headers what are the realistic power gains I can see at the crank and the wheels?
I have read so many different variations yet everyone had different mod levels in the vehicles. I was told as much as 15-20 HP and the crank, sound about right.
Thanks and again, glad to be able top post here. :D
