I wan't clear side indicators but am not sure what will fit. Not sure if it matters, but i have a TS ecky with oval, orange ones. I hade a look around today and all i can find that look like they might fit are off a VT commy.
If anyone has done this help would be great. If no-one has I have the copy right :) .

from i've read, you can put the VT ones in there but you have to chop the wires and make the hole for them bigger... i want the same thing, still looking for a univeral set.

everyone uses the VT commodore ones, they are a popular choice..
Ive got VY commodore ones, they arent oval like the VT and look nicer in my opinion..
And yes a bit of chopping of plastic, a bit tricky but nothing hard, i did it in the dark in about 30 minutes a while back... well worth it but.

OK, different situation for me perhaps, I got a 3rd gen and on everything I had seen, I got a set of VT clears off Ozeparts, $36 inc freight. Good deal eh?
Only thing is, you need to chop out about 1/2 cm of metal from the fender to make em fit, plus get orange globes. Hmmmmm. If I had known this I would have shopped about for more precise fitting ones. I understand lancer ones might fit better??
Yeah, the ones at Ozeparts.com are ok. I was happy how they came out on my ol TR anyway. $55 bucks wasnt too bad either, and they come with orange globes too. The only thing is, they clip straight into the hole, but the actual globe wont be able to fit straight in. It's hard to explain but i'll try. On the back of the standard indicator the globe is mounted on a 45 degree angle. This is so it will fit inside without hitting the inner part of the gaurd. You'll see what I mean when you've got the indicator out. Anyway the point is, with the ozepart ones the fitting for the globe sticks straight out. So with the globe in, it wont fit all the way in. Unless they've changed them since i got mine 18 months ago :doubt: But the problem was easy fixed. I just kind of sat the globe in the hole on an angle and used sillicon to keep it there and put electrical tape over it. A little bit dodgy I know, but hey here it is 18 months later and they still work fine(Touch wood) :) I think something so small made a heap of different to the overall look of the car. So I'd say give them a try! :D
