its done 190,000km, and its in damn good condition, except i should have road tested on the hwy. its a bit jumpy doing 110km/h, feels like the clutch is slipping, but i'm not sure.

Will get some pics up soon. twas a bargain!

Not sure whether i'll be selling it yet. My brother wants it, so it might go to him, but right now I'm not sure what i'm gonna do.

If I do, i'll have to think about it, its a possible, i'll keep you on first dibs if so. Oh and I've also got a Diamante bar with foggies on them in the garage too :P

Dunno why I am posting this here but I was going to buy a 2000 TJ Advance for $9500 tomorrow but decided I wouldn't purely on the colour because I am picky. If anyone is interested it is at http://www.pickles.com.au/servlet/Auction/VehicleDetail?item_id=850003351 I will put it up in the for sale section now as well.

yo Chief I like that colour!

I'm picky as well, but the fact that this car is rare, i *almost* couldn't care less what colour it was anymore. It isn't too bad, but i was hoping for something darker.

Just for the record, i grabbed it for $10.5k.

I'll post some pics soon, ive got some on camera, but I was running out of light outside.

Cool mate! tell me what you think of your new car as compared to your 2nd gen, particularly the difference in bodyroll and parking/turning.

Sweet! Thats a good colour too, well for what wagons had to offer...I was afraid you'd get the typical white wagons (no offence to anyone) but yeh great! I hope you got plans for it!

Very nice deal too..3.5 manual WAGON for $10kish...where'd you buy it? Good luck. oh and two-words 'colour coding'
;) Enjoy

Looks great mate, nice job!! I just wish the people at Mitsubishi could have picked out more appropriate colour coding for the seat trims. I like the exterior colour a lot too.

heheh yeah the colour is growing on me.

I plan to do some colour coding when i get the kit fitted, which won't be for quite a while. Oh and when i totally like the colour. I have some ideas up my sleave...*think BA Falcons*

Congratulations, a bit of a step up from the auto 2.6... I didn't think there were many 3.5 manual wagons around, you were lucky.

190,000kms for a 1999 model! That's heaps of kilometres, must have been a company car in the bush. Even got it with mags. You would probably be swapping the 16s from the TS wouldn't you?

Yep, now you won't need to tailgate me up a mountain anymore! :bowrofl:
Definitely not many 3.5 manual wagons, i've been looking for over 6 months for them, there are a few Execs, but not the Advance, and only saw one other in Adelaide, but I missed the boat.

It seems it was originally a company car, and has been tripping between Sydney and Brisbane, which explains the high k's. I'll just have to keep a close watch on the engine, I can't afford to break it right now.

As for the Verada rims on my TS, I think i will swap them over, its definitely more elegant then the ones that came with the TH.

I have the same problem at 110 k get bit bumpy. its not the wheel balance coz i've got new rims on now and it still does it. Me thinks might be shockies on front but then again i got know idea. except somthin must be out to do that at that certain speed...

Yeah it should be with me on the next cruise, but its still pretty stocky, so I might take the old one out for a spin, depends on my mood for the day/night :D

Actually it does it even at lower speeds as well, and it doesn't happen all the time?
I thought maybe its the clutch not engaging properly, but i tried disengaging it and re-engaging it and it didn't seem to help much. I have a suspect that maybe my rear bank of spark plugs are on its way out? or maybe a couple of fuel injectors...
