now, i have just fitted TH SMokers CAI kit with the K&N pod, and im not doubting his kits for a second, it is a very good design. but while driving over the first couplkeof days the car did konk out on me in the middle of driving. the first time i was giving it a bit of grief, the second time just normal driving. it would just turn off, and i couldnt steer (power steering turned off obviously)

does anyone know what this si. have i done something wrong witht he install?

Dunno could be coicidence and could be something to do with the fuel delivery. Could be the fuel pump or you could not be getting a consistent spark. My car was doing a similar thing. I think I needed a replacement coil or something.

make sure u check the connection plug to the mas air flow sensor if that aint right then ur car will play and will stall, do a diagnostic check with the engine light to check.

Sounds like youv wired up the maf wrong or something, maybe one of the wire's arnt connecting properly, try run you car without your maf pluged in a see if it does the same thing!!!
