hi all this is a question for people who have done this im looking at EFIing my astron carbie
have any of you's go turboed or supercharged and if so have you used a piggy backed computer or have you used a new ecu??

i dont think theres any turbo gen 1's. too much custons suff you have to make, exhaust manifold and dump pipe etc

lol theres many turbo gen1s theres also many turbo gen2s running the same astron motor... theres a few members here on AM thats turboed there gen2s but theres one write up of a turbo gen1 at www.fastmagna.com
but yes i will defently need a aftermarket or piggyback ecu

if u read back threw the gen1 threads ull notice theres some help on efi'in you car :D

would you have an idea of what the best ecu/piggy back would be?

ive heard of a Motec System being used on a gen 1 turbo. there is also the Wolf3d Engine Management which ive heard is probably the best.
