After opinions on these:

Option 1: EVO Style Fibreglass Bonnet
http://www.fastmagna.com/km/bonnet/evo_bonnet.jpg

Option 2: Standard Bonnet Vents/Scoop:

Option 3: No changes

What do people think? :)

1st one looks best but it still doesn't look symmetrical. I would reckon it would only look good if you got parabolics.

I think the last one, then send me the other 2 hahah, nah I like the first one looks pretty sweet

number 1 shame the pod vent is on the wrong side

How about 2, but only with the vents? I take it this is mainly just for cosmetics?

Yeah, actually - would look good with parabolics. Btw, who is the chick in your avatar?

Mainly cosmetics for now... however would add a pod filter with the cooler air in the engine bay.

Or how about, parabolics? Forget the normal scoop as it will only reduce the efficiency of your radiator. Rear facing side vents would be good though.

im gonna b different and say i like the second one the best, it kinda looks tough and reminds me a little of a wrx. and personally, id stick to the normal headlight as it all matches in along with ur paint and side indicators, but thats just my 2cents

That would be Natalie Portman :D Nice girl, have met her in real life too!! She is probably most well-known for her star role as Queen Armadala in Star Wars.

its Queen AMIDALA BTW

also i think the 2nd one looks better but without the WRX style scoop, looks too ricey
(for the rex it's use is for the intercooler).
1st vent sucking air in for your pod and the other facing the rear to extract hot air.

Kim,
I'd go for option 1 (with the single vent on the driver's side - to match up with the airbox).
I don't like option 2 - too much like a WRX and known for it! At least option 1 is from a Mitsu.
I still like the straight lines of option 3 but also like option 1.
Maybe just a single vent over the airbox ???

Chief,
My daughter says "Cool, I'd love to meet her!". :dancin: :bouncin:

Kim

Chief - ahh, yes... natalie portman, of course :) Cool, where did you meet her in real life?

Nashy - it will cost around $750 USD for carbon fibre, and less for fibreglass. Not including freight. So, not that cheap :(

KIm how much was ur bodykit???

Spent about $700 on it... the actual kit though cost $350 with slight damage and unpainted on ebay. It was originally custom made - not sure who by.

Cheers,
Kim

I saw a 2nd gen today with tinted blinkers similar to those on the 3rd gens. It looked quite nice with the standard headlights!

Honestly Kim. The Evo look alike is the pick of them. But i still think its too much  Something different would look good, but you dont want to take away from the rest of your car too much. Especially that front bar!! You know every TR/TS driver drools over that whenever they see it dont you? :D

Killbilly

I like the first one Kim, put the pod vent on the other side and get some parabolics and it'll look awesome.

If it wasnt for your front bar then the bonnet would look odd, but because your front bar is pretty out there, the bonnet goes with it really well.

Edit:

Here's a pic of your car with that bonnet and with some badly photoshopped para's to give you at least a rough idea:

Seem to have the funds bro, why not put them towards performance and get your car snaring a few Commo's off the mark, your ride looks pretty sweet the way it is.

Don't really have the funds (bodykit was cheap, most of the other stuff was sponsorship). Insurance is another reason for performance parts... they don't seem to mind cosmetic but refuse major peformance work.

Don't mind the parabolics but I would have to darken the corner indicators... it looks wierd having the dark parabolics with clear indicators.

That's true, they look weird without the amber indicators, I just couldn't be stuffed putting them on lol
