they fit in lil n13 engine bays...so im pretty sure theyd fit into a magnas bay.

i think its more pointless...we have plenty of awesome mitsu engines!

or is this thread a smart ass joke thingy? if so i was sucked in!

yeah man, thats fosho, why get a nissan sr20det when you can get a 4G63BT from a Galant VR4 and get the front mount that comes with it too? sr's dont have a factory front mount like the galant does (if so not as big and flow as well) talk to that dude whos just done a VR4 conversion, i dunno his name so really this thread is a waste of internet space, BUT ITS MY SPACE - YOU HEAR ME? MINE! ALL MINE!

sorry, time to take my medication.

yep its me, at the moment the car is having a VR4 gearbox put in it due to the engineers rejecting it with stock gearbox, coz i am now putting in a vr4 gearbox it means that i need new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. So i might have a Ceramic racing clutch and heavy duty pressure plate for a magna for sale soon.

1st dibs :D

*cough* SR20DET is from a 180sx correct? last time i checked a 180 was a RWD :bowrofl:

magna is FWD. so are u planning on creating one of the first road worthy RWD 1st gen magnas? i will be happy to loan my car as the prototype if u wanna pay 90% of it :D

some pulsars i think it was came with FWD sr20det's in them, i could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure they come in both fwd and rwd.

Well you could source a jap spec sss bluebird which would have the SR20DET motor in EAST/WEST style. You would however have to get the g/b from a pulsar to suit FWD drivetrain!

Also pulsars in aus never had a sr20det in them only the de, any that you see are an aftermarket job!

On another note you would need to be getting the motor and labour pretty cheap, as I couldn't justify spending an obsene amount of money on the 1st gen. I mean it would be different but at the end of the day it would be still hard to fetch much more value over a standard 1g magna.

sr20 bit somthing different.. halfcuts about 1500 i think. as for labour engineer you really need to get the cost of that worked out... if money isnt a concern go the legnum twinturbo
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! that fly lol

sorry to rain this out but the legnum/galant (8G) wont fit into this 1st's engine bay, plus the cost of a TT v6 would be pretty exy, i think haydn (tbutcher) imported the 2.5TT for himself for 3500$. so i'd just get a VR4 6G engine and a tough gearbox to suit up to it
