hi guys i have just went out and bought a set of kings lows for my tj and i and i don't know how to fit them, there doesn't seem to be a thread that details this.
I have access to a set of spring compressors other than that i am lost, i thought i'd better get some advice before i hurt myself.
Go to www.madmagna.com
Mal has written up a pretty good write up in the Tech-Tips section.
Although the write up is for a TR/TS, basically follow the same steps......not sure if bolts are the same sizes etc....
If you arent confident, get someone to do it for you, wouldnt want a spring shootin out and hurting someone.

That certainly shed some light on the situation thanks. Have you done this before, will i get away with not using a vice whilst compressing the springs?????

Can anybody confirm that a tj is the same process as a TR TS??????

first of all treat springs with the greatest of respect, I have seen someone nearly loose thier life when one let go and only glanced his face, it took him 6 months to return to work.
Magna front springs are insanely heavy and take a lot of compressing.
DO NOT USE A VICE, get good spring compressors

no no no! I didn't mean use a vice to compress the spring i ain't that silly. I meant could i compress the springs using spring compressors without securing the strut in a vice or would it be too awkward.

definately use a vice, otherwise u dont have much hope of holding them. all the steps and bolt sizes are the same for the whole magna range.
