Hi guys.
I got a speed alert off of a TF today and was wondering if I were to remove the dash from my TE Executive, would the wires will be there waiting for me to hook it all up?
Secondly.. how the hell do I remove the dash? I have removed the lower panel before.. but once I remove that, will it be pretty obvious on how I remove the surround where the speed alert buttons go? What about the speed alert LCD module? Same steps as for installing a HU..?

Yeah that was the plan I just don't have much money right now.. heaps more going out than is coming in :/
The speed alert probably isn't really worth the trouble but I got it cheap so I thought why not. At least the wiring is there.
Thanks for the reply.

If it isn't all that easy to hook up, it probably isn't worth it.
I'll tell you know that my Speed Alert on my 98 TF Advance gets bugger all use as i have set it to 185km/h so it doesn't bug me! (not that my magna could do anywhere near that speed based on the state my stock 15" typres/wheels are in!)

heh yeah I know it's not really worth the effort.
Anyway I did pull the black surround off of the dash (I didn't realise it was so easy) only to find that there's nothing there? I'd just finished work and it was 1am but I'm pretty sure there's just nothing there to hook the speed alert buttons up to.
Regardless I'm going to get a manual the week after next when I have some money.
