Depends what you consider expensive. I bought some for my Sports and I think it was around the $180 mark. The scuff plates themselves are the same across the whole range, but you buy stickers with VR-X or Sports or Magna on them for a few $$ extra.

A word of warning if you do get 'em, make sure you never want to take the scuff plates off the car to run wiring down the wiring ducts cos you only stick these things on with double sided tape and they don't like being bent.

yeah the silver scuff plates are nice, i saw mitsu service centre
had ad posters for them $200 fitted (set of 4)
but do they get scrathed up easily, coz it gets stepped on?

The scuff plates do scratch, but they are metal not plastic so it could be worse.

I'd imagine you could buy KJ/KL Verada tail lights easily enough from Mitsu since OzeParts sell genuine Mitsu items for $310 per tail light.

Yeah the scuff plates do scratch eventually even if you dont put your shoes on them. Just getting in and out with your clothes rubbing on them will scratch them eventually.

Paid $70 for memory for the Verada scuff plates. Easy as piss to put on yourself. Just make sure you get them on straight to start with because once they are on, they dont come off. They are kept on with this double sided tape that you add this special glue too. They give you stuff all glue so might be worth getting some more of it before you do the job.

Are these supposed to be on my VRX cos they ain't. They do look very cool though. Which models did they come out on???

Hey there blackvrx. They didnt come out on any models but you can buy them from your dealer. All the strips are the same but you just get a different sticker for your car. I think they have them for Magna, Verada and VRX.

.....cos you only stick these things on with double sided tape and they don't like being bent.
