Mine has been lowered aprox 2-2&1/2 inches, the rear of the side skirt is the lowest part of the car and thats 120mm off the ground, the front bar is okay, just have to be a little carefull, mine doesnt hit many driveways but when i put 2-3 people in the back it comes down another 2 inches then some times my exhuast hits, okay you now now my secret for when i go cruising, throw two people in the back and it looks 2-3 inchs more PHAT in the rear when the ass is scrapping :D :D :D :D

i've got king springs (25-30mm about) all round - it doesnt scrape on anything on the bottom of the car.
however, the only thing you need to worry about with the vr-x kit, is that if you up to bigger rims with 235+ tyres, the tyre will sit underneath the wheel arch flare. when you hit a big bump when cornering it will hit the bottom of the wheel arch flare (i've lost a clip already  ).

its a MANUAL :D
Oooh interesting - i guess an important part of lowering is getting much stiffer shocks so it doesnt bounce down and hit?
My subs may even drop my backend a little when i get around to installing them - [here they are in my old skyline] (http://presstec.net/~jake/pics/R31_Skyline_1990/2004-10-18/small/IMG_0070.jpg)
Hmmmm
SGIC has a max of 30mm lowering im told, has anyone got any side pictures of 30mm drops?

Greetings All.
Harder shocks, and PolyUthrane suspension bushes should stop you from bottoming out as much...not to mention harder springs...
Cheers,

*SEARCHES*My VRX is lowered 30mm all around.
Note: My subs make the rear sit a bit lower, a full tank of fuel makes it sit even lower! Then when I fill the car with friends, it sits really low!
Sorry about the quality of the last two pics, they were taken with my phone.
Here are some pictures:

Thanks for the piccies! suweeet cars :D
I am just pondering, SGIC said i can lower it 30mm... so thats 30mm lower than what it is! not 30mm lowered magna springs right? - because VR-X came out 10-15mm lower? (please correct me if im wrong!)
so that would mean i can purchase 45mm lowered MAGNA/VERADA springs :D!!!!!
which drops me 30mm lower than what it already is :bowrofl:
right?! wooo!
I wonder how a whiteline package will go *googles*
