Hey dude. Have you got a 3rd Gen? If so, this is how you do it..
To get the bench part out there are two plastic tabs, one in front of where the two passengers would sit on each side. Give them a gentle pull and the bench will lift out. Then just pick it up and you're done.
The back part is a pain in the butt. On each end, near the doors, is a bolt inside a U-shaped loop of metal. Undo and remove the bolts on each side. Then in the middle you'll find a similar thing, larger bolt. Take it out as well. What you need to do then is force each side of the back-rest upwards towards the roof to un-hook it. This can take a bit of practice to get the right leverage! You need to push it upwards about 2", and when you do you'll feel that it comes loose. Once this is done on both sides, unhook it from the seat-belts and remove from car.
Reverse process to put back in.
Hope that helps.

Off topic, but anyway, anyone know why the bolts on the back are two different sizes??
I was thinking it maybe due to preventing theft, but then I thought if someone was gonna steal your back seat or rear speakers and had at least one socket and ratchet, then they would probably have another in a different size i.e. a set with them to do the job. So I dont think that would be it.
Anyone have any ideas as its definitely a pain and I cant see any real reason for making the bolts different sizes?

Thanks to your help on the forum - I managed to get my rear seat off and put on some nice seat covers! Bloody pain in the arse though, bolts and hooks and ski slots....
Worth it though...
