Im not sure how much this modified grille peice would restrict flow. If its gunna be marginal then i will put it on as it is. Otherwise i'll just cut the fins out where the pipe will go (leaning towards this option).

I have a spare grill peice too so im not too concerned about hacking it up :)

haha thats what my mate said to leave it off completely.

But im thinking just hacking off just the fins around that circle shape for the pipe to squeeze thru will still look "mean" and will fill up the rest of the gap my bumper now has :nuts:

Isn't the fog light hole interchangable with the grill peice (ie, likr the spot lights are)? :P

yeh i was looking at that on my brothers TH. Now im kicking myself i went and bought a TE bumper to replaced the one i dented. I didnt see the need at the time.

The TH peice doesnt look to be interchangable with my TE one. Well not without a lot of hacking at it

Why dont u take this opportunity to change to a TH bumber and put fine meshy stuff over everything..and a grill mod while u're at it :confused:

I've left that piece off, in hope that the front brakes get more air flow. The front piece of the mud guard under the wheel arch has already been removed.

Arghh im so fussy. Today i cut the fin bits out to let the pipe poke through. It looks ok, but not hidden enough for me i think - i dont want it to stand out at all.

And also, at the hardware store i was looking at different types of mesh. The guy asked what it was for and he suggested black pantyhose? too restrictive perhaps? there was some nice aluminium fine mesh.

U need a Squirrel Catcher there dude. If u can't find any suitable mesh - how about metal strainer, for cooking? Not too fine tho, to restrictive. Use the brackets from that left over plastic thingi to attach the mesh. Get a bell mouth for the pipe too, catches another bit more air.
What comes to the Cat, one is enuff. Second Cat will counter act that resonance balance and result in to reverberations in the collector sections and halt the car completely. Only way to rectify that is to get a hungry dog to rid the Cat. :confused:

panty ho's or stocking would be good, for water rain. if you only put a bit of it and maybe stretch it si its not as fine...
