Hi, i took delivery of my 03 VR-X manual two weeks ago, however, the car sometime has a problem getting into 2nd gear, both from up-shift and down-shift, any of you guys experienced this before? it's only done 11500 kms.
And are they any benefit performance-wise to be getting a k & n panel filter? apart from the fact that i will never have to buy another filter again.

It is true,if you get a K&N Panel, you will never need to buy another air filter :D !! As for your problem, I have no idea if this will help :confused: :redface:

2nd gear is a bit iffy sometimes in my Ralliart also, especially when it's cold.

After she gets warmed up though she's as smooth as silk.

When I get the chance i'm going to try some different transmisison oil, redline perhaps and see how she goes then - hopefully much better!

Though that said I have wondered if it might in someway be clutch related ... I've not yet tried playing around with adjusting it as yet.

I have the same problem in my VRX. Only going from first to second, not third to second.
Once the cars been at operating temp for a few mins its fine.

So it would seem it's just another traight of the 3rd-gens then, rather than something caused by a vehicles previous owners spirited driving habbits - yay I think. :D
