KYB Twin Tube is what I have, love em.

Koni if you can afford it, but KYB is the cheaper alternative.

I've got King springs with the monroe GT Gas premiums for 5 years now and its still as firm as
the day they were fitted

Nah, my butt's always been firm  (plenty of bike riding). Maybe Mercury got a second quality
unit (ones that did not pass final QA). When I bought my wheels in Perth (can't remember the
place I got it from) they were cheap. $1200 for 4x16x7 Performance FX5 with 4x225/50R16
Dunlops (can't remember exact tyre). Anyway, the offsets were wrong and they were out of
round slightly. I could never get the balance right. The place I went to (Steelcat in Adelaide)
to get it balanced said that its out of round and has the incorrect offset and they contacted
Performance for me and I got a new set of wheels with correct offset and perfectly round (had
better finish as well). They (Performance) basically told me that they sell their 2nd rate wheels
to certain places and the latter sells them cheaper than 1st rate ones. So be careful when
buying something thats way cheaper than whats its meant to be.
