i've got a weird noise, im unshore if always been this way since had car..

when you rev past 3000 and change gears the motor or somthin around it gives a noise hard to describe (bit like a washer would sound if you spun it around on a bolt), the more rev the louder the noise. could possible happen under 3000 but i cant here it till higher up. wat could this be somthin loose..

happens when you change gears inwhich for that second or to the rev i spose goes up then down coz you just put the foot on the clutch and took it of accel

any help or maybe suggestions or possiblities would be great :D :P

as far as i know it isnt cozing problems.... yet... or maybe thats how it sounds me dont know, last car i had soon as you took ya foot of to change gears rev drop quicker so you didnt have the rev dragging on as much as the magna. :doubt:

So the noise happens when you take your foot off the accel and on the clutch? or when you move the shifter?

If it is the first one, does it happen if you are stopped with your foot on the clutch and rev the engine?

Is there any abnormal vibrations coming through the clutch or the shifter? Any shudder when releasing or engaging the clutch?

Also does it happen more when the engine is cold or warm?

Could you get a recording of the sound? Make sure you get a passenger to do it!:D

Iv heard a 3rd gen with a noise similar to what you have discribed, but it was only when the engine was not under load (doesnt mean to say it wasnt happening under load but we couldn't hear it because of road noise) and over 3000. A change in oil fixed the problem...not too sure if it was thicker or thinner.

Theres no shudder, and doesnt matter if warm or cold, does it when ever you poke it over 3 grand
it also happens when you sit there and rev it (foot on clutch)
the shifter fine just when taking off accel and putting on clutch it makes the weird noise....

for all i know could be normal, or tommorrow somthin bad good happen

its hard to describe, something lose or rattle.

cant get recording of it..
