Recently purchased a Momo Trek steering wheel off my mate for fairly cheap...
http://www.momo.it/Momo/volanti/grandi/trek/trek.jpg
It's the black one, i popped onto the Momo site and found out that all it had to say about it were that the Trek series were
"Size: 350mm (13,8'') - Typ R35*
*with TUV/ABE"
Has 6 bolt holes...
I've got a 97 Mitsubishi Verada and it has cruise and airbag so, Im not too fussed over the airbag but will I have to lose cruise ctrl forever IF infact it is possible to put the steering wheel on..
cheers for the help
If you disconnect your airbag your little SRS sensor is going to stay on in your dash.
Dont know about WA but removing airbags from a car can get you a yellow ticket..

In NSW there is some hefty fines for the removal of a airbag, seriously get it checked first

There is definitely a sports steering wheel on the market which incorporates an air bag. I read it quite a while ago (like a year ago) in Street Machine mag. I thought it could have been a momo but my memory is pretty ****ed up! at the time they only had one style, and only a couple of colours. I thought by now there may be a few more available

This topic has been covered a few times in the past, in various threads...
It is illegal to fit a wheel without an airbag to a vehicle that came out of the factory with one from what i've been told.
The wheel shown in my avatar is available from mitsubishi for our magnas, it's the same wheel that I had fitted to my old ride before I purchased my Ralliart.

What was the damage on one of those bad boys? It's just the regular leather wheel with two-tone leather, yeah?

no real size difference from standard, it's just covered in two tone leather.
If you do a search you should be able to find the thread where I posted the part number, then you can get your local mitsu dealer to quote you a price.

I did the Ralliart AKKO replacement thing. Hugh improvement on the original plastic.
The wheel is the same size, it actually uses the same airbag centre bit, but it is a lot thicker and nicer to hold even on the freeway. It also comes with the cruise control stalk which CAN be hooked up to an aftermarket system (Auscruise) if you want.
The part no. is MR923785
Mitsu originally quoted me $500 but when I got it done it came to just over $400 including fitting and GST so I kept my mouth shut.

can not under any circumstance rep0lace a airbag wheel with one without a airbag.
Tha ralliart one is leather, thicker and is a nice wheel, would cost abit over the $400 fitted depending the mits dealer and how much they will help you

Are there colour options or is black and grey the only choice? (which I suppose would make sense since all the Ralliarts have grey consoles, yeah?)

The Silver(Grey) & Black one is actually a VR-X Style Wheel, I believe they've fitted this wheel (the one in my avatar) to the TL VR-Xs ?
From memory all of the Ralliarts came standard with a Red & Black leather momo wheel. :-)
