heres my latest mod. fitted a xbox. Wont reside in my car usually as i still play it. Fits into the ski port perfectly. Cup holders work well to hold the controller :D

would the xboxs hard drive be adversily affected by the vibration level caused by the sub?

Looks like u painted the xbox ...shoulda left the green logo there :P As Rusty said, how does the xbox like the sub right next to it?

Nah, there good for long trips to the cape, and interstate, just get the missus to drive and your set. :D

I have myne sitting under the middle seat and i still use the cup holders as a controller holder but where you have youse seems better. So did you mount it there or...?

havent had a problem yet. Then again havent put the volume up above 1/3rd yet. I painted the logo blue because i was originally trying to make the jewel clear so i can light it blue... but the paint stripper i used to get rid of the green was too strong for the plastic i had mounted the jewel on and the plastic had melted onto the jewel. When i cbf ill buy a new jewel off ebay and light it up.

The xbox jams into place in where the ski port is.. doesnt need any real mounting.
