Just looking at buying extractors for my TS from the online store. There are two set, the RPW and the Pacemaker set. Whats the difference in performance and cost? And any ideas why extractors aren't an option for the TR/TS, only says for the 3rd generation magna's?
If you'be got prices on the extractors blake, could you PM them to me
Cheers

do a search dude,
or if u want the short answer go the RPW and if u wanna keep the heat out of ur engine bay get them HPC coated
(ill be getting mine coated when i get them)

My pacemaker's came HPC coated in a blueish colour quite nice , but then again just buy some more expensive RPW's then spend more money on getting them coated ...... either way expect to get them damaged anyway since they hang so low

Widow, remember TZABOY is talking about the TR/TS extractors of which I am the only person thus far who has them (here anyway).
Pacemaker does not make them for the 6G72 SOHC 12v only the 24v
The only ones that exist are the RPW ones so there isnt much choice.
TZABOY there are pics of the extractors on my site...but you've seen them in the flesh anyway :)
You might have to email Dave@RPW to get a pricing as they're a relatively new product.
And I WILL vouch for how good they are, even though there is no comparison, I can still tell you the results I got.
Massive improvement in the high end due to the much freer breathing, big improvement in the mid, but not as much as the high, and a very slight, if any, improvement in the low. Probably wasnt any improvement it was just coz I was thinking "oh this is better and this is better" so you tend to naturally assume it's all better.
But the mid and high were OBVIOUS :)

Widow ...if you read my replies to the other thread about the Pacemaker heades... the HPC coating on them is not "true" HPC ie it is not Ceramic coating.... it is just a heat proof coating...

for more info...
I agree with you I dont care what ppl buy as long as they are informed of all the options and are told the truth.

Sometimes I question even the way you think TBuTcher.
it is NOT HPC ( heat proof coating ) but it IS HPC ( heat proof coating ) , now is it just me or is that somthing you would hear from some crazy guy ..... but then again i guess you are crazy TB

I think he is trying to say that Pacemakers HPC is not true ceramic coating but another style of Heat Proof Coating.

Gees I cannt help what I type :P
The fingers doo the wlaking while the brain is a sleeping :D
I "was" rying to say that people need to be aware that there is true HPC coating... (which is Ceramic based... bloddy expensive.. $400 or so fo r the set inside and out) and there is HPC coating (Heat Proof Coating) cheaper alternative and generally only on the outside...)
I dont know which (Pacemaker / RPW) has what on them ... but if there is a large difference in price, then this could be the reason... (Pacemakers $390 on eBay... RPW $???? I dont know the price) but if RPW are say $700 it could be because they have the Ceramic coating which is the best coating for the headers... so I have been told.
Widow... Hows that.. did you understand the jibberish this time? :)

Well Mine ARE coated inside and out all over ... they did cost $800 so im guessing $400 for the extractors and $400 for the HPC coating ...well i dunno
See TB when you try to talk normally i dont understand at all but when you just talk jibberish its easy to understand

Glad to help...
I was going to get the PAcemaker ones from the eBay dude about a month ago because they are advertised as HPC.... for $390.
But then I found out about the differences and I wanted everyone else to be aware as well.... Education is a great thing.
