I want to change my carpet colour, Does anyone know where that sells them or the actual manufacturer of the carpets for Mitsubishi? Thanks

i'm pretty sure tru-fit (i think thats who i'm thinking of,... always have ads in street machine?) have listings for magnas up to 95-96 so i'm guessing that would be a 3d gen? then u can get it any colour or thickness u want pretty much

Yep!. Also Hot4's has carpet people in it to. I got a quote on a full floor cover in my old 79 toyota corona(the carpet in these cars are usually in 2 pieces) and it wasn't going to be all that costly.

You can get auto carpet from bunnings (bayswater definately has it.. don't know about others). I got nice black stuff for my sub install for only $17 a metre. I don't know about moulded carpet tho.

My TE is a 1/97 so i'd probably be a little careful with that one. A company called VHT make a Vinyl/Upholstery dye, i think one of the boys on here has used it on the lower carpet part of his doors in his 3rd gen. Looks pretty good too. Maybe try that.???????? :eh:

I tried Trufit, Supertrim, etc.

They don't have the moulds for 96+ Magna. "A what?" :rant:

Ended up getting a black 2-piece moulded cut pile from Protectomat in W.A.

Around $260-270 delivered to your door. :cool:

There's no holes for seat belt bolts and it needs a bit of trimming, other than that it's spot on! :D

I think they meet up under the front seats.

I used VHT vynal/carpet dye on my doors (both carpet and vynal sections) on my TR. It looked realy good and worked good on the vynal, But on the carpet it felt realy rough and cheap. I wouldnt recomend it, try and get hold of a moulded one first before you 'Dye' it.

Is it just me. or is there no carpets available for the TE-TF Magna? :cry:
