A lot of questions have been aasked about the codes for various models, check this site out and all ya have to do is match engine specs. e.g. 3000v6 for triton/magna/verada/pajero etc.....
Keep the link handy and buy a meter $10.00 Dicky Smiths then note that you may want to make up a coupla connectors for the 2 pins or get a mate to hold it for ya....
