give us more info
kilometers its travelled
what model? executive, SE?
condition of car?
Whats he asking?!
Im guessing its a 4cyl cause its 92, I think nothing more than 5000 for a top notch condition TR with under 170,000k's is a rough price.
If the k's are higher, lower your price.
Just give us more info and we can halp :D

I sold my TR about 2 months ago ... had 220,000 on the clock ... was lowered with superlows, 17" mags, full pioneer sound system, rear spoiler, 2 1/2" exhaust, had done a bit of work inside and boot and roof had not long be resprayed so the duco was pretty good and was a 5 spd manual 4cyl ... hope that gives you some idea

ok just got back from looking.
its a 92 TR Sedan. Original motor in it, done 287,000 km. Manual, Cruise Control, Power windows (that dont work), paint is a little faded and the motor doesnt sound right (has a sorta squeaking noise when its running, unless the AC is on).
inside is tidy looking and the tyres look good.
he is asking $4000 for it. I really dont think its worth that much. What do you people think?

This will be a TR SE. The windows may not be a big issue and the squeak may be one of the engine mounts as this is fairly common.
Still asking a bit too much for the car, check out auctions, TR's go for as little as 700.00 there

those k's are sky high for the price, in my opinion anyway.

287000k's on original motor.. its a 4cyl im assuming? i wouldnt pay 1 for it.. only a matter of time till the motor curls up and dies.
for 4000 you can get one in quite good condition, "tell him hes dreamin!"

Not exactly. My uncle has a TP and has done 400,000 on the original motor, and its only starting to give way now.

then hes very lucky. I dont mean to offend those with astron motors but lets face it their not the strongest in the world. Sure there are some out there which can do 400000 like you say, but theres not alot.. there not alot of any kind of motors which will do that.. personally i wouldnt even take a $3000 risk on a car with 287000clicks.. let alone $4000 cos you have to remember things like gearbox's and stuff aswell
