does anyone know where i mite find a pair of tweeter pods and covers (dont need tweeters themself) that are usually situated on the inside of the two side mirrors found in the higher TJ and TL models. Im in perth if anyone has them or know where to get em without paying $90 a piece with the tweeters (that i dont need) from the dealer???

i think for stock speakers they r pretty good, especially if u r running them off a descent deck with a low pass filter so the speakers dont distort. but ive got MB's to put in and want them to look stock with the cover over them

be careful tho, coz i've heard they're only a small pod and a lot of aftermarket tweeters simply wont fit. i was thinking about this for my stereo, but tonkins said they've had quite a few tweeters that are just too big for those pods (and these guys are basically magna specialists, 3 of em drive 3rd gens!)

i put the tweeter things in my tj with pioneer tweeters in them ... had to make my own bracket to hold them in but they fit in fine

yeah, bro put tweeters in last nite and just sat them on top of door trim until i got the tweeter covers from mitsubishi today ($29 for the pair). the MB Quart DSD-216 tweeters fit fine for anyone that is wondering

My tweaters from my aftermarket Eclipse splits wouldn't fit in those pods so the guys at Alberts simply removed them, placed my tweeter in the same position then clothed/trimmed over it.
