Hi, I am new to the forum. I have a 2003 Diamante LS, which I gather is similar if not the same as your Magna or Verada. As you may already know, we don't have all the options you have, when it comes to customizing our cars. I was interested in getting this leather/wood steering wheel on Australian EBay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4501738889&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

But it looks different from US wheels in terms of airbag shape, size, and spoke positions. Can some of you perhaps post some pictures of your wheel so that I can compare it to mine.

Thank you,

Richard

I was looking through some of your pictures and the wheels do look identical. Then my next question is, is the wheel on EBay correct one for Magna or Verada???

The wheel is called a Nardi Wheel, i just called Mitsubishi and asked them about the Air Bag Centre (horn) as it DOES NOT come with it on eBay.

The price for the airbag is $1299AUD.

The wheel will fit a verada/diamante, the Only disadvantage is that with for example the KH Verada onwards has the radio/stereo controls you disregard it.

The wheel sells for $699AUD.

I also asked about fitting the original air bag centre but it will look out of place.

I also asked about the Nardi Gear Knob to suit/match the steering wheel, i was told that you have to replace t-bar assembly and the surround and that is around the $500AUD mark.

I also had good hopes to buy the wheel on eBay as the seller lives just around the corner from me. But it looks like i am going to give it a miss.

Good Luck,

Regards
John
