Hey guys.

FINALLY finished last weekend. Its taken me absolutely ages to do the whole thing but at least I can say I did it myself...

Pics aren't the greatest, they are scanned from photos. I could only get the camera just b4 I wired it so the wires are no longer visible.

What do you guys think tho?

nice, i like it. however i personally would've mounted the amp behind and perhaps had a piece of perspex on the front so u can still c it (if thats what u want) but looks very neat. well done

MMMmmmm how does it sound? Whats on the other side of the boot? Nothing?

As Big Paul said, u could put it behind a piece of perspex with a neon/led and a cooling fan if u could really be suffed. lol

Anyways, how long has this taken you? seemed like a long time...

Very nice.

I recommend you flush mount the amp to tidy it up a bit. Remember to sound deaden the boot and use rubber/foam mounts for the number plate.

eek: There is a mdf box on the other side of the baffle board, made to the litreage suggested by one of those sub-calculator programs (based on the specs of the JL subs).

I haven't pumped it right up yet cos I believe you have to give subs a few hours playtime to run-in but so far it sounds awesome. I listen to metal mostly and it is very punchy.

The boot section only rattles a little so far.. hardly worth attention at the moment but when I decide to crank them properly i'll see where it needs deadening and go from there.

I'd like to flush mount the amp at some point but this is the first one I have done and I wanted to keep it simple... I like to be able to see the amp too, so I can fiddle with the controls when I feel like it.

I wired a 8" blue neon to the boot light too (not in those shots) but it isn't very bright. Needs a bigger one :) I was going to take the floor piece to one of those embroidery places and get "Mitsubishi Magna" and a logo on it.. don't know if I will tho..

Thanks heaps for the compliments guys. much appreciated.
