hey everyone
i was parked at this place... just chillen listening to music with 4 people in my car..... we were about to go to this function at a local school ........anyways.......we r listening to a song ....... then all of a sudden this big bang comes from behind and we are rocked back and forth.....
this was caused by someone reversing into me at high speed.... well like 10-15km/h anyways....
the guy got out and gave his details like a good samaritan and apoligised and admitted that it was his fault .....
so basically i get a new rear bumber for free heheh...... he has to match the paint aswell hehhe
just thought i'd share it hehehe.....
and now my magna has an ugly dent on the rear bumber heheh
oh well heheeh
its not my money 8)

yeah blake
i wouldn't be able to make the cruise anyway heheh
also... just so you guys know... it wasnt a big impact.... it only damaged the rear bumper heheh .... i think my internals should be fine hehe
yeah... i was thinking of getting a different rear bumper .... but then i would have to get a whole kit put on hehe ..... which means less clearence....more money... and more weight heheh
not that i dont like a good looking body kit (Tbutcher's )
later 8)

If you change to the TL bar you dont need a full body kit!
Just have to make sure that they bolt on...
Parts should be available from 1/7

few weeks back i was reversing out and as i stopped revesing and began to drive i was hit by a postal van, he said "you were outta my line of sight" got his details and off to wrk i went
few days later i rang aus post, and they say to me, oh it wasnt the posties fault, it was both our faults, damn i wish i got thats guys number that tried to stop the van from hitting me.
so im paying for a back bumper, it can stay dented till i get my kit.

Nah that's bs. Aus. Post just don't wanna cough up. Postie guy should have been paying attention to where he was driving. If he couldn't see you then the van ain't roadworthy. Was it one of them hulking Transit POS? They have good forward visibility.

I agree with Raymod, totally his fault.
Do you have witnesses?

it was a transit, the little step on the back pushes in my bumper, i could go into nerdy stuff and say the transit hit me on this angle meaning he was at fault but it looks like a no hoper when i didnt get any witnesses, didnt think i'd need to since it wsas blatently his fault, ill remember next time
ill post a pic tomorrow, ive popped it out now, but paint is still cracked so it needs a resray, maybe even a brand new bumper

A plastic repair place would fix that for like $70 prob...
they heat it and re shape it...
good as new...

a hair dryer, a broom handle, and a can of spray paint and you'll be done in 1/2 hour
