yeah the model number for the 5-speed manual. i own a 97 Diamante in the US so i guess thats considered the 3rd Gen over there. right? yeah the Mitsu Part number. TY

part number MD974682 (F5M51-1-F5N) but they are very expensive....$4,000 AUS

well i am in the US and was thinking maybe the 5-speed 3KGT would bolt right up to the 97 Diamante. nobody has tried this before so i dont know it would work or not. sometimes the model numbers dont match but it'll still fit. what do ya think? :D
