Its just the way they are made...

The second design was an improvement over the first however, but there will still be a slight gap. However when you reffer to sealing, no water will get into your headlight assembly.

I WAS YELLING!!!!!!!!1 [size=12:ae3bca8769][/size:ae3bca8769]because water is getting into my boot thats all but yes blake u r correct about the lights being water proof theres no problem there its just the water in my boot, no problem ill just try the sellys no more gaps (clear that is ) also about them being illegal, yes they are but in the few weeks ive had them ive had 4 cops behind me in night and day, when ui mean behind i mean at the lights so parked right behind me and i havnt been pulled over, so they aint causin me any probs so far.......

Hrmmm, water shouldn't be getting into your boot.

Have you had a look to make sure the rubber seal is firmly in place?

should there have been a rubber seal in the box that goes around the perimeter of the light???? because if there was i didnt get one.

i was gonna pul the seal off my old lights but there glued on and i wanted to keep them original incase of yellow stickers etc etc.......

I'm surprised you can still buy them.. it won't be much longer and you won't be able to buy things like that which are illegal.

A court case just a few weeks ago made some company pay out shiteloads for selling 'rice lights' even though they are illegal.. I'm sure the same thing will happen here.

Disclaimer of liabibly generally solves that. They are intended for off road use...

Still when some people have an accident etc they will still try and blame someone else for thier own mistakes...
