Hey, just d/c my battery to reset my ECU, plugged in the battery again and realised that I have no idea what the code is - is it individual to the car, in which case I'm ****ed or can I take it in to a local Mitsu service centre and get it fixed? :doubt:

Hiya, same thing happened to me recently, My car only 4 months old
so rang dealer, asked my rego number, gave me code and fixed.
Not sure in your case, also check your service book.

Nedd to ring a mits dealer with rego and vin number, they will then get the number from a on-line service and give you radio code back to you.

Dont do that or the radio will shut down from incorrect code, if you cant get it then let me know as i have some contacts at mitsubishi and will get it for you...

Lol I've heard bout this.
Yeah they want me to bring it in... Been a few days without a stereo now  :doubt:
Problem is, it officially is in my uncle's name (for insurance, tax, etc etc) and he lives like... the other side of the country. Soooo... Will I have a problem proving that I'm the owner of the car? :P
