Here's what I was up to few nights ago at 3am. Paints the wrc blue. Instead of using normal paint I use paint for remote control car polycarbonate bodies. Seems to be much tougher, dries quicker, finer spray and is heat resistant (to about 60 degrees). Its usually used on polycarbonate bodies which get a lot of heat/oil/smashing and seems to be pretty good.

I spraypainted 2 mobile phone covers.. one in normal spray paint, the other in rc paint. normal paint lasted about week and a half, rc paint lasted around 2 months.

first foto is of my sub and lighting setup for it through the rear seat porthole. Fluffy dice fill up the cupholders (well im greek... got to have something ethnic) :D

did you pull out the hazard lights button or tape around it?

That looks great ! Are you going to do the glovebox and the lower dash under the steering wheel? I think that would like hot !

yeah i was looking at matching the paint with the leather but i found it'd look too flat. Non metallic flat colours dont look too good on smooth surfaces. Reason flat colours work on leather is because of the texture.

Considering it took 2 cans to do that and 10 bcuks a can. I dont think im gonna paint anything else inside. I dont wanna overdo it either.

Oh one other thing with the colour.. When my paint gets screwed up beyond show car recovery im gonna respray the car a black/wrc blue paint job. I'll draw up the design when i get the chance.

Dude, you have to get a short shift kit for it or at least attack the gearshift lever with a hack saw, if you get a small length of bar it should fit inside the original gear shift lever and also into your gear knob!! it just doesnt look so out there and up in the sky plus the gear shifts are alot shorter as well,, apart from that awesome color and it looks like a nice finish on the paint, good job keep it up!!also dude, try not to paint the glovebox as when your non concearned passenger who drives an old 120y , and has no concept of a modified car gets in ,they might/will scratch the glovvie with their knees..

haha yeah when i got the unichip installed the pedal came off.. Its sitting on the floor of my car still.. it never quite fitted properly so not suprised. I'll put it back on after im done painting my engine bay

pffft!! home amp!!, thats the biggest one kenwood made at the time , i'm running it as a three channel at the moment till i find another hq sub to squeeze into the boot!!!



the ashtray is just out of shot and the headlight covers are factory jobbies just spraypainted with this stuff called nightshades, it lets a little bit of light through while still looking jet black, i had the tail lights tinted as well untill the cops decided they didn't like it , and i havent got around to repainting them yet !!

WGNBOY: Do the cops give you any crap over the front lights..??
