The "reserve price" is $9250, but it got passed in this morning.
Im just wondering if I go down there and if it is good... what sort of price should I offer?

Thanks for your help.

yeah it looks alright but it has a lot of k's on it.. i dont think i would even have paid 9250 for it.. i sold my 96 commodore with air, power everything, auto and cruise control with only 130 000k's on it for 8000 and commodores hold their value better then magnas do so i think whoever is selling it is dreamin

or maybe hes not dreamin because no doubt some mug will pay it but theres certainly alot of better buys out their for that sort of money

With only comparison being my car's bought price afew months ago, I would say don't pay more than $8,250 if its got an immaculate body.

trust me mate, for 9k you would be able to find a much better buy.. at 10 or 11 that car is a rip off. Its not worth it.

Okay a quick check at carsales.com.au for magnas under 10,000, dealer cars (therefore some kind of warrantee), in WA immediately turned up this:

http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.dealer_vehicle?vehicle_id=1995302&current_rec=2&total_rec=3&sort_type=1&price_min=5000&price_max=10000&make_id=3&model_id=57&state_id=8&region_id=107&search_distance=25

which has less miles, mags and a spoiler for the same money.

If you don't mind a flight to SA and a drive home, the choices are many from 7990 up to $10,000 (remember these are dealer prices - haggling a bit is entirely possible):

For example:

gday h45e

i bought my car over west at the start of this year, a TF 5spd with only 70,000km on it and paid 11...plus it has 4yrs warranty, youll be able to find something cheaper, what area you in? im down in rockingham, lots of cars for sale down there, cheap too...maybe head down that way for a day and check it out....
